Our trip from Shanghai to Beijing was a cool new experience for both of us. We took the bullet train, topping out at over 300 km per hour (almost 190 mph)! At precisely 2:00 p.m., the train doors closed and we were off. Less than five hours later we were in Beijing and had covered 1,265km/786 miles. Quite a trip!
